Speech and Language Department

• The Adult Speech and Language Department offers an assessment and treatment service primarily for patients who have swallowing or voice difficulties due to head and neck cancer problems.
• A Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital Consultant refer these patients to the service.
• In many cases the patient will wish to have a friend or family member involved in the treatment process. The patients may be seen before or after surgery .
