Mentorship — Women in Surgery

  • Founding member, Women in Surgery Africa (WiSA) (2016) — mentoring programme for female surgical trainees in sub-Saharan Africa through the RCSI–COSECSA collaboration; 500+ specialist surgeons trained.
  • Foundation Faculty President, TCD School of Medicine AWS Student Chapter — established the inaugural Association of Women Surgeons chapter at TCD, delivering surgical skills training and coaching for female medical students.
  • Faculty President, RCSI AWS Student Chapter (2022–2024) — mentorship programme fostering diversity and inclusion in surgery at RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences.

National Role — Irish Institute of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery (IIOHNS)

  • Honorary Secretary, IIOHNS (2024–2028) The national professional body for Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery in Ireland, representing consultants and surgeons in training. Active contributor to national ENT policy, workforce planning and CPD delivery through the IIOHNS platform.
