Patient Services

Patient Services Department

The Patient Services Department is the operational administration arm of the Hospital.

It comprises a wide range of functions working in a multidisciplinary team interfacing with all sections of the Hospital.

It includes the provision of administrative supports and services to the following areas:

  • Out Patients Department
  • Accident and Emergency
  • Patient Appointments
  • Medical Records
  • Admissions and Bed Booking
  • Medical Secretaries (Consultants)
  • HIPE

In addition, administrative staff from the Department are assigned to other areas within the Hospital such as X Ray, Audiology, Nursing Department etc.

The Department also deals with requests for information in response to routine access by patients to their medical records and Freedom of Information requests.
