Job Description

The Royal Victoria Eye & Ear Hospital is a voluntary acute specialist hospital and is the national tertiary centre for the treatment of Ophthalmic, Ear, Nose, Throat, Head and Neck disorders. Recognised as a University Teaching Hospital, it has a tradition of care stretching back to 1814 and has looked after patients on its present site since 1904.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following position:

ICT Project Manager
Grade VII, €51,342 – €66,742

The ICT Project Manager will work closely with the Director of ICT to manage the ongoing development and expansion of the hospital’s Information and Communication Systems (Clinical
and Administrative) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems. The ICT Project Manager will be an integral part of the ICT team with responsibility for completion of IT related projects

At the latest date of application, candidates must have the following experience:

•Demonstrate experience of working in a multi-disciplinary busy environment that has involved dealing with change projects & changing environments involving multiple stakeholders to achieve results as relevant to the role
• Demonstrate experience of data analysis and preparing reports, good report writing, business case development as relevant to the role
• Demonstrate experience of project management, planning and managing competing priorities and deadlines, where the ability to analyse and interpret information to make decisions quickly and accurately is required, as relevant to the role.

At the latest date of application, candidates must have the following Qualifications:

▪ A third level qualification in IT or in a related discipline
And
▪ Hold an Accredited Project Management qualification
