Job Description

0.5 WTE / 19.5 HOURS

This appointment is to the Ireland East Hospital Group on a Type B basis under the Consultants’ Contract 2008 (as per standard text issued by the HSE) by the Health Service Executive.

The following qualifications shall apply to this appointment:

• Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty of ophthalmic surgery.
• One-year certified postgraduate training in vitreo-retinal surgery.

This successful candidate will be the Clinical Lead for the Diabetic Retinopathy Treatment Centre in RVEEH.
