Clinical Nurse Manager 2 – Ophthalmic Outpatients (39 hours/1.00 WTE)

Job Description

Five years post registration experience of which 2 must include relevant clinical experience of working with Ophthalmology Patients in the Outpatient setting.

Essential criteria for both posts:

• Currently registered/eligible for registration with An Bord Altranais agus Cnaimhseachaisna hEireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland)
• Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role
• Evidence of continuing professional development
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to initiate and implement in change management
• Evidence of nursing audit and research
• Demonstration of quality improvement in the healthcare setting
• Proficiency in commonly used IT applications

Desirable Requirements:

• Recognized management programme or a commitment to undertake same
