Clinical Nurse Specialist – General Ear, Nose & Throat Nursing

Permanent Contract
1.0 WTE / 37.5 Hours
Monday – Friday
Applications are invited from dynamic and experienced nursing staff who will be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills, professional leadership, strategic planning and have a track record in the delivery of consistently high standards of care. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their capacity for leadership, professional responsibility and accountability.
Essential Qualifications:
- Be registered in the General division of the Register of Nurses kept by the Nursing and midwifery Board of Ireland
- Three years post registration experience, which must include 2 years in Ear, Nose and Throat nursing
- Formal recognised post registration education relevant to the area of specialist practice at level 9 (Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent)
- Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development at the appropriate level
- Qualified Nurse Prescriber or will commit to complete the Nurse Prescribing Course.
