Job Description
The Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital is a voluntary specialist Hospital for the treatment of Ophthalmic, Ear, Nose, Throat/Head and Neck disorders and a tertiary referral centre for Ophthalmology. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates who will be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills, professional leadership and strategic planning for the following post:
Clinical Nurse Manager 2
NIght DUTY
(0.5 WTE)
€56,353 – €66,622, Pro rata
Essential Requirements:
- Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
- Three years post registration experience
- Evidence of previous managerial experience
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Ability to teach and competency in preceptorship.
- High standard of written and verbal communication
- Engagement in nursing audit and research
- Commitment to quality initiation in the healthcare service
- Competence in commonly used IT applications i.e., Microsoft Excel, word & power-point
Desirable Requirements:
- Post registration qualification in Ophthalmic or ENT/Head and Neck Nursing or the equivalent experience
