Grade V, IT Systems Analyst
Job Description
1 year Fixed Term Contract
Working cross functionally within the hospital to ensure 1. the integration of information and communication technology to support and inform the highest standards of service delivery and 2. progressing the ongoing development and continuous improvement of Business Intelligence for RVEEH.
This post will have specific responsibility for the production, analysis, evaluation and development of information systems to support and inform the service needs.
Experience/ Knowledge:
Essential:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in an IT related discipline
- 5 years IT experience
- Understanding of data warehouse design
- Strong skills on SQL
- Experience in using Power Bi
- Strong analytical skills
- Working knowledge of IT deliverables and KPI’s
- Report writing and documentation skills
Desirable
- iPMS experience
- HL7, FHIR and integration engines
- Coding experience e.g. c#, vb.net or vb6

Technical Skills:
- Ensure data integrity is maintained in relation to all information inputted on the system
- Ensure security with regard to the relevant systems is maintained by all staff members
- Keep abreast of developments within the area of Health Informatics, Information and Communication Technology
- Knowledge of the Hospitals operational policies and procedures
- Knowledge of and operation of Q Pulse (Quality Information Systems)
