Experience
Essential:
- Have excellent IT skills including proficiency in the application of Microsoft office
Desirable:
- Previous cash handling experience

- Previous clerical experience in a healthcare environment
- Use of telephone in a busy environment

- Have well developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work on own initiative and work with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Have ability to deal with patient enquiries in a prompt and professional manner
- To be able to work effectively within a small administration team during the day and be confident to work autonomously and unsupervised out of hours. This includes exercising a high degree of problem solving skills, utilising knowledge, experience and initiative and taking responsibility for making decisions to ensure the smooth effective running of the emergency department clerical / admin service
