The xRefer radiology referral platform (by xWave Technologies in partnership with the European Society of Radiology) has been chosen by the HSE Digital Transformation team as a ‘Living Lab’ in the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital. The HSE Digital Transformation team, led by Prof Martin Curley, has rolled out a number of Living Labs across Ireland over the last year. These Living Labs seek to accelerate the co-creation and adoption of digital health solutions in Ireland. The RVEEH Living Lab will provide a testbed for this new radiology referral technology through a high-impact pilot which has just commenced and will run for a minimum of 3 months. The RVEEH Living Lab project is sponsored by Dr. Peter Kavanagh, Dean of Faculty of Radiology in Ireland (RCSI).
