Pharmaceutical Technician – Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD)
Job Description
- Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:
- Possess the Pharmaceutical Technicians Diploma awarded by the University of Dublin Or
- Possess a Pharmacy Technicians qualification at QQI Level 6 awarded by the Dublin Institute of Technology, Athlone Institute of Technology, Letterkenny Institute of Technology
or Carlow Institute of Technology Or - Possess the Pharmacy Services Certificate (NVQ 3) offered by the Irish Pharmaceutical Union Or
- Are currently employed as a Pharmacy Technician in the publicly funded health service Or
- Possess a relevant qualification at least equivalent to (ii) or (iii) above
- Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, (including a high standard of suitability, professional knowledge and ability), for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
Candidates should submit a full Curriculum Vitae (five copies unbound) with a cover letter nominating three named referees (one of which should be current) and evidence of IMC Registration (for Posts 1 and 2) to the Director of Human Resources, Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital, Adelaide Road, Dublin 2 to arrive not later than: Friday, 12th April 2019.
