Job Description

with a special interest in Rhinology
RVEEH 21 hours SVUH 18 hours

This is an appointment to the Ireland East Hospitals Group on a Type B basis under the Consultants’ Contract 2008 (as per standard text issued by the HSE) by the Health Service Executive. The initial commitment for this post will be to Royal Victoria Eye & Ear Hospital for 21 hours per week and St Vincent’s University Hospital for 18 hours per week.

The following qualifications shall apply to this appointment:

    1. Professional Qualifications
      Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty of otolaryngology.
    2. Entry to competition and subsequent appointment
      For the purposes of eligibility for entry to any competition or recruitment process associated with this post, a candidate must fulfil the eligibility requirements laid down in consultant appointment documents for this post.
