Job Description

The Royal Victoria Eye & Ear Hospital is a voluntary acute specialist hospital and is the national tertiary centre for the treatment of Ophthalmic, Ear, Nose, Throat/Head and Neck disorders.  Recognised as a University Teaching Hospital, it has a tradition of care stretching back to 1814 and has looked after patients on its present site since 1904.

CNM1 Post – Nursing Informatics

Nursing Informatics post to support the implementation EMR systems (1.0 WTE)

€46,889 – €55,255 (pro rata)

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST ARE INVITED FOR AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY TO IMPLEMENT, TRAIN AND SUPPORT STAFF IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND ROLE OUT OF MEDISIGHT ACROSS DEPARTMENTS

Requirements

• Be registered/eligible for registration on the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
• Three years post registration experience

• Proficient in IT applications and implementation of EMR systems

• Evidence of continuing professional development
• Experience in audit and research

• Excellent interpersonal skills
